
Cape Malay spiced mince crowned with golden egg custard.

Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius.
Fry onion until soft then add mince — brown well.
Add curry powder, chutney, raisins and seasoning.
Squeeze milk from bread and mix bread into meat.
Spoon mixture into a baking dish.
Beat eggs with remaining milk and pour over meat.
Press bay leaves into the top.
Bake for 35 minutes until egg custard is set and golden.
